Few Miscellaneous Pictures From the Summer

Tore down the oldest section of the old milking barn.  It was in pretty rough shape, and removing it makes the newer section more useful to us.  We saved as many boards and beams as we could, as well as the old block and tackle that they used to swing hay into the haymow with.

Added another bunker silo.

Cutting our sorghum sudan grass.  We probably should have cut it earlier and got two cuttings.  It was 8 feet tall in places and thick as a jungle!

Finally got myself a work truck.  To good of a deal to pass up!

Hit some of the single track motorcycle trails that are part of the ATV trail system near us.  Here is Dominic riding the (much nicer) southern loop of the Crawford Hills trail.

That farm truck looks nice…especially with that full rear seat. Should accommodate car seats nicely.

My brother got some beams from an old barn and is using them for some of his custom wood interiors. Adds a really nice touch and people pay big for the wood. What do you have in mind for your salvaged wood?
